I'm Dennis. I had my first panic attack roughly thirty years ago, and anxiety has been part of my life ever since. Over those years I've tried, failed, learned and slowly built a way of living with it — through the bad waves and the quiet stretches.

I'm not a doctor or psychologist, and this conversation doesn't replace professional care. What I offer is something different: the experience of someone who has sat in that chair — the racing heart, the avoidance, the exhaustion — and who can talk about it in plain words, without judgment.

Sometimes the most useful thing isn't another technique, but half an hour with someone who immediately understands what you mean.

Is this therapy?

No. This is peer support based on lived experience. It can exist alongside professional help, but it never replaces it.

What if I get anxious during the call?

That's okay — it happens, and it's nothing to be ashamed of here. We slow down, breathe, and continue when you're ready. You can also end the call at any moment.

Can I reschedule?

Yes — get in touch in advance and we'll look for a new moment together.

Is the conversation confidential?

Yes. It's a private one-on-one call. Nothing is recorded.
